Plenty of musical entertainment across the county will ensure that Halloween weekend is full of less tricks and more treats.

At Narberth’s Queens Hall, Supergene, Soundboy, Broadway Romantic and Freshold will bring a mix of musical styles to the stage on Saturday.

Supergene is described by keyboardist and manager Danny Walters as “a five-piece anthemic indie rock band, with a splash of electronica mixed in for good measure”.

Freshold has its foundations in funk and hip-hop, Soundboy experiment on stage with a live dance sound and Broadway Romantic promises an energetic metal set.

The doors open at 8pm and tickets are £6 in advance by calling 01834 861212 or visiting www.thequeenshall.org.uk. They will be £8 on the door and there will be prizes for the best fancy dress costumes on the night.

Meanwhile, Mosh Potato Promotions has organised a Halloween Rock The Imperial gig at the Imperial Function Centre, Milford Haven, on Saturday. The four bands on the bill are Illusive Existence, Trunk Shot, The Devil’s Answer and Menacer.

Fancy dress is welcomed and tickets are £5 on the door. The gig is for people aged 16 and over and ID may be required.

For those who want their Halloween celebrations to begin tonight (Friday), The Venue at Haverfordwest is hosting a Voodoo Halloween Bash featuring Fatman and Ice, Ed ET and DTR, Enigmatic, Intense and Jenko and MC Goony. Entry is £5, and the event runs from 9.30pm to 2am. It is for people aged 16 and over and ID may be required.
