AN artist and printmaker whose career has spanned nearly 60 years currently has a sea-inspired exhibition on show in Pembrokeshire.
Island’s Edge, by Pamela Scott Wilkie, opened at Tenby Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday (July 6).
All the pictures on show are inspired by Pamela’s own experiences, many by the Welsh coastline. Some of them are being exhibited for the first time.
Said Pamela: “These pictures are about standing on the shore looking out to sea, designed to be reminders indoors of how it feels to be outside and in the open air.
“I’ve been coming to Wales as a visitor for many years to enjoy holidays with my family and spend time with friends, as well as on my own to search for ideas.
“So I’m particularly pleased to have the opportunity of exhibiting this work in this very special gallery, some of it for the first time.”
The exhibition can be seen daily until August 18.
