I have been asked by a couple of people about comments made about me on another web-site.

All I can say is that I am a member of the public who holds NO public office or has been elected to any committee, for at least 8 years.

I am very interested, as you might know, in what goes on in Pembrokeshire, Wales, the UK, the World, and the X-Factor.

I am ALWAYS looking for information, to educate myself and to form my opinions and views. I also accept other people are entitled to their views and I RESPECT them. All I expect is respect in return.

I am fortunate and grateful, that the Western Telegraph give me this sounding board and I do my utmost to ensure I say nothing I shouldn't.

A few weeks ago, I sent an e-mail to a Pembrokeshire councillor who has their own web-site, which proclaims the fact that it reports what is going on in the County, that may not be found in other news media.

I merely asked for that person's views on the recent court case of another councillor, that raised issues, but had not been covered on his web-site's epistles, to my apparent surprise.

I do not wash my laundry in public and have communications with people, which I assume are in confidence. They are, from me.

I then found I was being named and questions asked and comments made. I did not realise a mere member of the public could be questioned in public by a person who held an elected office, especially as I have not done any blog articles on the subject.

I did not realise I was a mover and shaker within the County, that I could be questioned.

I can confirm an e-mail I sent the Councillor was sent to the Western Telegraph, a few weeks ago, to confirm what was actually said, for the record and I now consider the matter to be closed.
