PEMBROKE Probus Club members and their ladies welcomed their counterparts from the Killay Probus Club, Swansea, to a lunch at the Cleddau Bridge Hotel, Pembroke Dock, last Tuesday (September 17).

This is the third time that the two clubs have met and the friendly success of the gatherings bodes well for the future.

Speeches were spontaneous, short and friendly, and there was a lot of fun.

After lunch the Killay Club visited Pembroke Castle, before being entertained "Royally" by George Lewis commentating on the murals at Pembroke Town Hall. They left wanting more and it would seem that a future visit to the Carew Control Tower is on the cards.
