A former mayor of Narberth and his daughter have been charged with theft, the Western Telegraph has learned.
Colin Williams, aged 72, and Wendy Williams, aged 48, both of Coxhill, Narberth will appear before magistrates in Haverfordwest on April 22.
The charges are understood to relate to the alleged theft of money from Narberth AFC.
In April 2013, a spokesman for the football club told the Western Telegraph: "Narberth AFC can confirm that they have made an official complaint to Dyfed-Powys police in relation to theft of monies from the club.
"They have also terminated the services of two committee members.
"The matter is now in the hands of Dyfed-Powys police."
Mr and Miss Williams were charged by police on Wednesday.
