TWO Pembrokeshire charities have been given a boost thanks to the fantastic fundraising efforts of Llanion Warriors Rowing Club.
The club, which competed in the 100k Celtic Challenge between Arklow, Eire and Aberystwyth back in May, has worked tirelessly to raise a total of £8,000.
The money has been split equally between the Paul Sartori Foundation and Stackpole Mencap Walled Gardens.
Cheques were presented to Debbie Drewitt of Pembrokeshire Mencap and Toni Dawkins of Paul Sartori at Cresswell Quay, where the team celebrated their achievement.
The club is very grateful to John and Colin Evans of the Cresselly Arms for their support and to all of the corporate and business sponsors who gave so generously to swell the funds to this marvellous total.
