SAUNDERSFOOT New Year’s Day Swim mascot Charlie Shivers got on his bike to present a charity group with a cheque to thank them for taking part in the event.
Charlie handed over £450 to the Three Amigos - the fundraising bikers from Pembrokeshire who raise thousands of pounds for local good causes through their motorcycle runs.
Accepting the cheque on behalf of the Amigos was Bryan Moseley.
The 30th anniversary swim saw 1,352 people braving the chilly waters, and the event raised over £37,500 for over 50 charities and good causes.
Over the years, nearly half a million pounds has been raised by the event.
Charlie Shivers has now signed up to Twitter. He will be promoting anything to do with the swim, as well as offering his opinion on what is happening in the world. Follow Charlie on @CharlieShivers.
