A Steynton publican is due to appear before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court today (Tuesday) to face nine food hygiene-related charges.
At an earlier court appearance, Angela Jarvis, 62, of the Horse and Jockey, pleaded not guilty to all the allegations.
These include failing to keep the pub’s food preparation area clean and maintained in good repair, failing to offer adequate provision for hand washing, failing to remove refuse from rooms where food was present as quickly as possible, and failing to keep equipment coming in to contact with food clean and, where necessary, disinfected.
The charges relate to August 7, 2013 and January 16, 2014. The case was adjourned for trial today.
