A jury heard allegations today (Monday) that a Pembroke Dock man raped a seven year-old girl while she was on holiday in Tenby.

β€œI will never forget it.

"You carry these memories for ever,” said the alleged victim, who is now a woman with a child of her own.

Stephen Bladen, aged 55, is on trial at Swansea crown court accused of almost 30 sex offences against five different girls.

They include allegations of rape and sexual assault.

Bladen, recently of Sycamore Road and once of School Road, Pembroke Dock, is also accused of possessing indecent images of children stored on two computers.

He denies all the charges against him and his trial is expected to last for the rest of the month.

The first alleged victim to give evidence made a statement of complaint to police that was video recorded and replayed today to the jury.

The woman said Bladen promised to buy her sweets and toys if she co-operated, although he never actually gave her any.

She said she could remember being inside a holiday let in Tenby when Bladen put her onto a bed and stripped her naked.

β€œHe got on top of me", she said.

The trial continues.
