PEMBROKE Dock Mayor Peter Kraus has praised a team of volunteers, who met up for the town’s monthly voluntary street clean last Thursday, October 22.
“What a fantastic turnout at the street clean in Pembroke Dock this week, 11 people turned up at 11am and what a fantastic work force,” said Cllr Kraus, adding: “There were quite a few new faces, which is good, lots of work was done and lots of rubbish collected from black-spots in the town.
“Can I take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped and hopefully they will join us in November at the next street clean. We will have our town litter-free
“People must be educated to take their litter home or use the bins in lots of areas around the town, it wouldn't take a lot and we could all be proud of our lovely town again.”
