FISHGUARD SHOW was a feast of farming fun on Friday, as the crowds gathered to the sun soaked fields of Fronhaul.

With over £6,000 worth of prize money on offer, and attractions for all the family it is little wonder that Fishguard Show is seen as one of Wales' best one day shows.

Families were treated to fantastic livestock exhibitions in cattle, pigs, sheep and horses, while the craft tent highlighted the skill of local people in numerous categories, from flower arranging to needlework.

There were also numerous trade stands and live demonstrations, including threshing and the hugely popular 'Sheeptacular'.

Also on display along with the vintage machinery was a history display of documents, maps and pictures of the local area through decades gone by.

Rhodri Thomas, chairman of the show said: "The show was a fantastic success. It always helps when the weather is on your side but today has been excellent.

"I'd like to thank all the competitors, trade stands and visitors for attending, as well as thanking those who work tirelessly in the build up to the show to make sure it is a success."

Show president Wyn Evans said: "I'd like to thank the Cornock family for allowing us to use Fronhaul Fields for what has been an outstanding show.

"Many people give up their time to help make this show successful, so I would also like to thank them for their hard work."
