THE Friends of Pennar School held its fourth annual Macmillan Coffee morning at Pennar Community School last Friday morning, September 30, which raised £285 for the charity.
The event took place from 9am-11am.
Entry was £1, which includes a tea or coffee; and there will be lots of cakes to buy, and also a raffle.
Michele Wiggins of the Friends of Pennar said some of the highlights, other than a chance to eat lots of tasty cake, was Pennar School Head teacher Damon McGarvie winning face cream in the coffee morning raffle, with another being Lorraine Treloar winning the first prize in the raffle, a lovely chocolate cake.
“It was very well attended, and thanks to all that helped,” said Michele.
