PUPILS at Pembroke Dock’s St Mary’s RC School have been enjoying the festive fun in the run-up to Christmas.

Youngsters from the school recently performed their Christmas play ‘Superstar’.

The whole school was transformed into nativity characters as they entertained parents. The children sang some up-beat songs as they retold the traditional nativity story.

Cheryl McNally, acting headteacher, said: “The children were all very excited about the show and were fantastic. We had some lovely feedback from parents and hope that have given the children something special to remember.”

On December 13, St. Mary’s held its annual Christmas Fayre, transforming the school hall into a festive market, with many families wandering around the stalls and visiting Mrs Claus in her grotto.

“There was a wonderful variety of stalls including arts and crafts, pop corn and cakes and of course the raffle. The staff all kindly donated the gifts for the hamper which was the 1st prize in the raffle,” said Cheryl.

“It was a great afternoon and we raised over £300.”
