DYFED-Powys Police has urged people to not speculate on the circumstance surrounding the death of a 14-year-old girl.
In a statement issued this afternoon, a police spokesman said: "Dyfed-Powys Police’s investigation in to the tragic sudden death of 14-year-old Megan Evans, from Milford Haven, remains ongoing.
"While the investigation is still underway we would urge people not to speculate on the circumstances surrounding Megan’s death, on social media.
"We wish to reassure the community that we are following-up all possible lines of enquiry to establish a picture of what happened in the lead-up to Megan’s death.
"Specialist police officers are supporting the family and are in attendance at the school Megan attended to support her peers at this difficult time."
Anyone with information that could help the investigation is urged to call police on 101.
Megan's funeral will take place next week. Full details here.
