JUNIOR competition winners from Milford Haven joined Father Christmas to help turn on the town's Christmas lights tonight (Saturday).
Tianna Boast of Milford Haven Junior School, Elliot Clarke of Gelliswick VC, Charlie Evans of St Francis, and Gabriela Kowalski of the Meads had the honour of joining the town mayor Cllr Colin Sharp on the town hall balcony.
With help from Jim Hughes of Radio Pembrokeshire, Father Harri Williams of St Katharine and St Peter's Church, and the man in red, the four youngster led the countdown to Christmas.
Hundreds of families turned out for this year's flickering lantern parade, lighting up Charles Street and Hamilton Terrace before gathering outside the town hall.
Once the switch was flicked, little ones then had the chance to sell Old Saint Nick what they would like on December 25.
The event was organised by Milford Haven Round Table and Milford Haven Town Council, and supported by Neyland Ladies Choir, St Katharine Stratford Players, the Torch Theatre, and volunteer stewards.
