Firefighters tackled a large grass fire in the Penygroes/ Crosswell area near Mynachlog Ddu last night.
Firefighters from Crymych were called to the incident at 3.47pm yesterday (February 26) and had quelled the eight-hectare fire by 7.50pm.

The Crymych crew took their fire engine as well as a 4x4 and used leaf blowers and beating equipment to extinguish the blaze.
They worked alongside local farmers from the Mynachlog Ddu side of the mountains.
They asked for a fogging trailer to spread water over a large area of land more quickly, but were able to put out the fire without using it.
A spokesman for Mid and West Wales Fire service confirmed the fire was one of the largest of several grass fires they dealt with last night in west Wales.
