Considering your education choices? Here’s a couple of options…

Pembrokeshire College has lots to offer

Western Telegraph:

Students who are finishing school this summer, and are still undecided about what to do next, should consider the options available to them at Pembrokeshire College.

Pembrokeshire College can offer young people the broadest range of courses available in the county including Apprenticeships, Extended Diplomas and 27 A-levels. Vocational courses on offer include: business, engineering, childcare, computing, art, media, construction, sport, public services, animal care, hospitality, hairdressing, performing arts and fashion plus lots more.

Last year saw A-level students achieve some of the highest results in the county while diploma students performed equally with over 40 per cent achieving distinction grades and over 200 students progressing to universities across the UK.

With a state-of-the-art campus in Haverfordwest, and the MITEC centre on the docks in Milford Haven, the College is equipped with some of the best facilities for learning in the county. Lecturers are all qualified teachers, and many have a wealth of industry experience which they can pass directly to their students. The result is students who have the practical skills and experiences that can lead directly to future employment or to further study.

The College also prides itself on its ability to offer award-winning support services to all its learners. The support on offer includes: Learning Support Assistants, Learner Coaches, Specialist Skills Assessors, Skills Support Advisors, a College Nurse, Chaplain and Counsellor, a Youth Worker, Work Placement Officers, an Employment Bureau and a Student Finance Adviser. We are committed working alongside our students to help them get as much as possible out of their time at College.

The admissions team is available throughout the summer to offer young people impartial advice and guidance about their next steps. College tours can also be arranged to show students the wide range of facilities on offer.
