POLICE are appealing for information after a dog was poisoned in Monkton recently.
Chillingly it is believed a ‘harmful substance’ was left in a garden in the St Martins/Marshall road area on October 5 in a deliberate attempt to harm animals.
Fortunately the dog survived its unpleasant ordeal.
A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Suspicious item believed to contain a harmful substance has been left in a garden in Monkton on the 5/10/18 in an attempt to harm animals.
“If anyone has any information or may have seen anything suspicious in relation to this please contact 101 and quote reference number: DPP/0406/08/10/2018/02/C.”
