AN 18-month-old child was taken to hospital yesterday (Thursday) evening following a two-car collision on the A40.
The incident took place shortly after 9pm near Llanddewi Velfrey and involved a blue Ford Focus and a red Nissan Micra.
Traffic diversions were put in operation at the scene by Dyfed-Powys police, with the road re-opening shortly after 10pm.
An ambulance also attended.
The child was taken to hospital "as a precaution", said a spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys police.
