CRAFTERS have been doing their bit to mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.

As events to mark the centenary get underway across the county, Haverfordwest's 'Yarn Bombers' have festooned the town centre with thousands of red of poppies.

Knitted and crocheted panels hang from railings and hug trees, while metres of poppy bunting decorate Castle Square.

Poppy wreaths, red pom-poms and silhouettes of lost soldiers are among the many creations that have appeared around the town overnight.

Haverfordwest is just one of many towns and villages across Pembrokeshire making a special effort to mark this momentous anniversary, with services, singalongs and exhibitions set to take place throughout November.
