ST MARY'S Church in Pembroke was the setting for a wonderful Harvest Festival recently, as the pupils from Golden Grove School -Ysgol Gelli Aur - sang and performed to give thanks for the food they have.
At the end of the first half of the autumn term pupils enjoyed a Spooky Disco Party.
With children dressing up in costumes the party was a riot of colour with ghouls and monsters a plenty.
The event was put on by the Friends of Golden Grove (FOGG) who raise money which is used to provide a wide range of activities and events for the school. Pupils enjoyed Hallowe'en-themed treats and drinks.
Pupils across school have been learning about the effects of litter on their environment. Our pupils have taken the messages to heart and have been proactively undertaking litter picks on local beaches.
Pupils who have shown a sound understanding of the school values are awarded each week with a milkshake treat as a thank you.
As the term moves towards winter the treat will be hot chocolate.
