RUGBY commentator Eddie Butler has praised the work of a café owner who has raised hundreds of pounds for Prostate Cymru.

To the majority of people in Pembrokeshire, Scott Gregory is best known as the owner of Caddies Café in Freystrop and his recently opened The Green Shed Café in Merlin’s Bridge.

This year, Caddies celebrated its tenth anniversary with a celebration party at the Hook Sports and Social Club where Scott showed his charitable side by donating the proceeds of the Auction and Raffle which raised £600 to Prostate Cymru.

Last year Scott made another superb effort for the charity by running the Cardiff Half Marathon and organising a raffle which raised over £900.

Prostate Cymru Ambassador Eddie Butler who is well known as a rugby legend, broadcaster and author recently paid a surprise visit on Scott to thank him for his ongoing support for the charity and show appreciation for his magnificent efforts.

Eddie said: “It’s wonderful to meet people like Scott who regularly show that they have a big heart and commitment to the charity”
