A HAVERFORDWEST householder has won a planning appeal to build a garage on his property.
Richard Davies was refused permission for the garage in the front garden of 14 Heritage Gate by Pembrokeshire County Council earlier this year because of the effect on the character and appearance of the area.
But planning inspector, A L McCooey, concluded that the proposed garage would not have an unacceptable visual impact.
The appeal was allowed subject to conditions including the removal of two wooden sheds within the front and rear gardens.
