PEMBROKESHIRE is feeling the wrath of the wind and rain tonight, with road closures and treacherous conditions likely for the rest of the evening.
Between Cresselly and Lawrenny a large tree has fallen over this evening, with Pembrokeshire County Council reporting it maybe have caused damage to a bridge.
The council says this means the road there will remain closed until Monday.
The Cleddau Bridge is also closed this evening to all vehicles because of high wind speeds.
There are reports of flooded roads in the following areas:
- Trewent - Freshwater East
- Targate Raod between Freystrop and Johnston
- Old Hakin Road, Haverfordwest as leaving Merlns Bridge
- Druidston - Nolton Haven road
More flooding incidents have been reported to PCC on these roads:
- Rosemarket to Honeyborough
- Road between Sutton and Nolton
The Met Office has a yellow weather warning in place until 6pm this evening, because of high wind speeds and heavy rain.
Rain is likely to continue tomorrow for Pembrokeshire, with a heavy spell set to hit land between 11am and 3pm.
Meanwhile, other parts of the UK -- including Scotland and Northern England -- were set to see snowfall today.
In some areas freezing rain was reporter instead of snow.
