A record-breaking turn-out of 2,119 swimmers welcomed in the new year in style in Saundersfoot this afternoon.
Watched by thousands of spectators, they braved the chilly waters for the village's 35th annual New Year's Day Swim.
This year's fancy dress theme was 'anything yellow', in celebration of Geraint Thomas's Tour de France win.
And the swimmers embraced the colour code in style, splashing out as bananas, ducks, Minions, Sesame Street Big Birds, a yellow submarine and a yellow brick road - as well as Geraint Thomas look-alikes in yellow jerseys.
As the gathered masses prepared for the big event, they were entertained by the dancers from Cast & Crew Performing Arts School, who provided the warm-up, whilst the crowd delivered a powerful rendition of Delilah.
Wales and British Lions rugby star, Jonathan Davies, led the 12.30pm swim countdown before joining in the dip, and a firework launch by West Coast Fireworks accompanied the swimmers as they charged down the sands.
The charity event is organised by Saundersfoot Festivities, whose chairman Martyn Williams, said: "The village and wider community has done us proud again.
"We could not have conceived, 35 years ago, we would be here now hosting such a major event.
"Our driving force, as always, is the huge number of fantastic causes that benefit.
"Thirty five years on, and this event is getting bigger and better, with thousands of pounds being raised for charity."
