THE COASTGUARD and lifeboat came to the rescue of six people who became stranded after becoming cut off by the tide between Little Haven and Broad Haven last night.

The inshore lifeboat from Little Haven RNLI and HM Coastguard Broad Haven and Little Haven were called at 6.15pm last night to reports of six people being cut off between the two coastal villages.

The coastguard said the group had managed to make their way around the coast on rocks to Broad Haven beach from the cliff above Settlands.

The group of people were found to be fit and safe, and were given safety advice by the coastguard.
