Two men have denied knowingly carrying fake £20 notes in Tenby.
Gwyn Davies, of St Nicholas Crescent, The Green, Pembroke, is alleged to have had seven counterfeit Bank of England notes, which he knew or believed to be counterfeit, in Tenby on February 28, intending to tender them as genuine.
Darren David Rees, of Catalina Avenue, Pembroke Dock, faces the same charge, involving one £20 note.
Davies, 37 and Rees, 38, both pleaded not guilty to the offence when they appeared together in the dock at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday, April 16.
Magistrates accepted jurisdiction and a trial date was listed for June 3.
The pair were released on unconditional bail.
