The Pembrokeshire holiday antics of an eclectic cast of camping connoisseurs can be enjoyed on national television all this week.

The brand new Channel 4 daytime show, The Perfect Pitch, fetures three couples of camping enthusiasts exploring beautiful Britain in their beloved caravans, campervans, and motorhomes.

The aim is to compile the ultimate guide to the very best campsites in Britain and help people plan their future staycations.

Stripped across the week in each episode, the programme's happy campers stay at one of the region’s top campsites, enjoying both on and off-site activities and visiting nearby attractions, with one of the campsites winning ‘The Perfect Pitch’ regional title.

Kicking off the week-long tour of Pembrokeshire, the first episode will air today, Monday October 4 at 5.30 pm, when camping holiday veterans David and Carolynn, Moony and Val, and touring newbies Callum and Tash head to Pencarnan Farm Camping and Caravan Park near St Davids.

Tomorrow’s show sees the intrepid campers head off-grid, visiting eco-friendly Kite View Farm at Dreenhill, near Haverfordwest.

On Wednesday, they pitch up at Folly Farm campsite that sits alongside its popular zoo and adventure park.

Thursday sees them in the green surroundings of Coedfryn Farm near Newport, while Friday features their final stop at Fishguard Bay Resort and the announcement of the campers' choice for Pembrokeshire's Perfect Pitch.
