THE popular Whitland fireworks display is back with a bang this year.

Event organisers, Narberth and Whitland Round Table, are making the final preparations ahead of the return of the family event.

This year, the display will be raising money for rural mental health charity, the DPJ Foundation.

It will take place on November 5, at Parc Dr Owen in Whitland. The gates open at 5pm and the display will begin at 7.30pm.

There is a free park and ride service from Whitland Mart ground.

There will be fun for all with fair rides, food stalls, a bar, and entertainment will be provided by Pure West Radio.

Narberth and Whitland Round Table chairman, David Wall, said: “The firework display is not to be missed to this year, and has been put together by Bright Sparks Fireworks, former musical display champions of Great Britain.

"All the money raised by this event will go back into helping the local community, with the main charity being The DPJ Foundation.

"It’s an extra special event for our team at the Round Table as we will be remembering our much-missed member Christopher Allen, who sadly and suddenly lost his life last year. We hope to make him proud."

Tickets can be booked via www.whitlandfireworks.co.uk or through Narberth and Whitland Round Table's Facebook page.
