Runaway Pembrokeshire League Division One leaders Goodwick United narrowly defeated champions and currently second placed Hakin United 2-1 to go eleven points clear at the top of the table.
Jordan Griffiths’ deflected free kick and 30-yard strike was enough to overcome the champions, who halved the deficit through Gareth Fawcett.
Third placed Clarbeston Road took the three points after a ten-goal thriller at home against Neyland, as Steffan Williams and Ben John both treated themselves to braces in the 7-3 win.
Pennar Robins also had two players score braces, as Thomas Greenwood and Conner Willis netted twice as they defeated St Ishmaels 6-1, who are still yet to pick up a point this season.
Scott Ferney topped the others by treating himself to a hat-trick in Merlins Bridge’s thrilling 6-3 win away at Fishguard Sports.
Will Haworth, Joshua Silk and Jake Smith all also netted for Bridge, as Sports slipped down to fourth.
The only other game saw Carew victorious 3-1 away at Monkton Swifts, as Iwan Izzard, Joseph Williams and James Hinchliffe all scored to help their side go three points clear of the home side.
