What’s the one thing a boss has done which has annoyed you the most?

Brits reveal the most annoying things their bosses have done
This profile replied: “Having a habit of saying no to everything instead of listening to perfectly valid ideas. Crushes the soul when the answer is always no.”
“Making unnecessary changes to justify their next promotion,” added another.
A popular reply was Brits talking about bosses who “micro-manage”.
As someone shared their boss “micro-managed every task” but instead they believe “trust is key to building a great team”.

They will leave and you will lose that experience. If you have team members who work really well unsupervised and they are delivering their numbers / projects on time, it really doesn't matter if they took 2 hours for lunch one day, they probably work more hours when you're not looking anyway.”
Elsewhere, a Reddit profile put: “Making assumptions and reading far too much into things.”
While another commented: “Stolen credit / passed ideas off as their own.”
“Not listening. Or using their mobile phone when you're talking to them,” said this social media user.
Other discussions for “most annoying” traits in a boss were: “Promising on my behalf something I can't possibly achieve, like a ludicrously tight deadline or task that isn't part of my remit.”

Someone else suggested: “Never acknowledging when you make a mistake. I think some bosses think it makes them look weak when they make a mistake and try and cover it up.”
