A Pembrokeshire veterinary practice is entering an exciting chapter as new owners take the helm.
All Pets Vet Care in Milford Marina has been passed from founder Billa Schleicher to local vets Alice Richards and Pete Howe, who have taken over the business.
The pair have worked with small animals across Pembrokeshire for more than 10 years and said they are proud to carry forward the founder’s ethos of compassion and independence.
Alice Richards, the new co-owner of All Pets Vet Care, said: "It’s a privilege to take All Pets Vet Care on.
"There is a wonderful team here and we’re committed to keeping the same personal, caring approach that clients and their pets know and trust.
"Being an independent practice means we can stay close to the needs of our clients and the local community."
The practice is known for providing veterinary care to dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, and exotic pets.
It has a long-standing reputation for its gentle, affordable approach and low-stress environment for both pets and their owners.
The full team will remain under the new ownership, ensuring continuity for clients and their animals.
Mr Howe said: "We both care deeply about Pembrokeshire and the people and pets who live here.
"We want every client to feel supported, listened to and confident that their pets are in safe hands.
"That includes continuing our own out-of-hours care for registered clients, so pets can always be seen close to home by a familiar, trusted team when it matters most."
The practice will continue to support Tinkers Hill Bird Rescue and Pembrokeshire Hogspital, which cares for injured and sick hedgehogs, two wildlife charities also supported by the previous owner.
Alice and Pete said they are committed to maintaining and building on Billa Schleicher's legacy of animal welfare and community involvement.
All Pets Vet Care will also continue offering trusted advice and a genuinely personal service to the community as part of its ongoing work.
It says that every pet will continue to be treated with compassionate, fairly-priced care and a personal touch, ensuring the practice remains a trusted part of Pembrokeshire life.
With the practice now in their hands, the new owners plan to keep that community spirit at the heart of everything they do, while exploring ways to grow and develop.
Their approach will ensure that both pets and their people continue to feel at home, cared for, and confident in the service they receive.
