Train services are cancelled following a train fault.
The services affected run in both directions between Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock.
Transport for Wales expect that disruption is expected until 10am.
The 6.15am Swansea to Pembroke Dock service terminated early at Carmarthen, while the 9am Pembroke Dock to Cardiff Central service will start from Carmarthen at 10.24am.
Transport for Wales has organised buses to run between Carmarthen and Pembroke Dock to help those travelling complete their journeys.
These buses will arrive at Carmarthen at approximately 7.20am and will depart Pembroke Dock at approximately 9am, provided by Davies Coaches.
Passengers needing information on accessibility and bicycle transport on replacement services were directed to the National Rail website for further advice.
Passengers were advised to allow extra time for their journeys, as road transport was expected to take longer than rail services.
