Friends of Havenhurst The rev Alan Jenkins recently conducted a very touching Remembrance service in the day centre with Mr Peter Griffiths accompanying the hymn singing on the piano. Miss Jill Bryant movingly played the Last Post and Reveille and Mrs Yvonne Bryant read a poem of remembrance.
At the monthly meeting of chairlady, Mrs Joyce Novas thanked the Rev Alan Chadwick for leading the harvest festival service last month and also Mrs Doreen Goldthorpe (staff member) for her reading.
The staff are now busy making plans for decorating the home in readiness for the festive season.
