Around a thousand pounds worth of fireworks have been stolen from a Neyland business in the Honeyborough industrial estate.

All Seasons Fireworks was targeted by burglars just a night after bonfire night. Thieves broke into a cabin belonging to the business between 5.30pm on November 6th and 9am the following morning.

The stole a brand new boxed blower fan, used to inflate bouncy castles, and hundreds of pounds of fireworks.

Among the pyrotechnics stolen were the following brands: Astra star searcher; Alien attack shot cakes; Radiation outbreak; Goose me goose mi gander; Sky monkey with exploding coconuts; Criss cross crabs after sweetcorn; Midnight finale and New years festival.

Police say that a vehicle would have been used in the theft due to the quantity of items taken.

Business owner, Paul Bowman added that two or three people would have been needed to carry some of the crates of fireworks.

He said they were small fireworks that tend to retail for between £8 and £10.

"I'd pay anything to find out who it is," said Mr Bowman. "I can't understand who would take them or what they will do with them, but it was somebody who knew what they were doing."

Mr Bowman has said that anyone who knew anything that could leave to the conviction of the burglars would receive a substantial reward.

"We will handsomely reward anyone with information leading to the arrest of the thieves," he said, "either with cash or a free firework display."
