If you dig archaeology the county's fifth annual day school, hosted by Pembrokeshire College this Saturday, November 15th, could be just the thing for you.

Star speaker at the event is Professor Geoff Wainwright, world-renowned archaeologist who was involved in the recent excavation of Stonehenge, featured in the BBC's Timewatch programme.

As well as the talks, local history groups are being invited to host displays of their work at the event organised by the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.

" We normally get about 130 people turning up to the event," said National Park Authority Archaeologist Polly Groom, "all of whom have an interest in history and archaeology, so it's a great opportunity for groups to bring their latest research or future projects to the attention of a wider Pembrokeshire audience."

At the event there will also be updates on the latest archaeological research, as well as opportunity for questions and discussion.

Places cost £7, including lunch and must be booked in advance. Booking forms can be downloaded from www.pcnpa.org.uk or by calling the National Park on 0845 345 7275.
