Dear Editor
When the town service bus ceased to run down Augustine Way in Haverfordwest, last September, it was very sadly missed, especially by elderly and disabled people who wanted to travel to town.

Myself and some residents started a campaign which proved very successful and an agreement was reached to have the service reinstated (Western Telegraph, March 18th) with three buses at 9.11am, 11am and 1.11pm at Augustine Way.

We would like to thank Bert, manager at Silcox Bus Company, Councillor David Bryan for his very valuable help and support, and Simon Rees, of Pembrokeshire County Council, for this outcome.

Our hope is that as many residents as possible will make full use of this valuable service.

Mrs D. Rosser
Augustine Way,
Haverfordwest.
