There may be a recession biting, but for anyone with a cool £5million under the mattress, a top Pembrokeshire hotel could be theirs.
Lamphey Court Hotel, which is believed to date from around 1823, is up for sale through the Bristol office of agents Christie and Co with a freehold asking price of £5m.
For that the buyer will get 38 guest bedrooms, lounge, conservatory, bar, restaurant and conference and banqueting suite. Leisure facilities include a indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, gym, solarium, aerobics room, hairdressing salon and two floodlit tennis courts.
Jonathan Hill, director of Christie and Co’s Bristol office, said: “This four star hotel is a long established business, with consistent all-year-round trade from both leisure and commercial visitors, catering for day and residential conferences, weddings and functions.
“This renowned hotel enjoys an excellent reputation, with turnover and profits to match.”
