Pembrokeshire's Connie Fisher is engaged to the man she met on a train station platform little more than a year ago.
Jeremy Reed proposed to Connie, of Hayscastle, on the opening night of the Sound of Music at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
The 40-year-old international banker presented her with a solitaire diamond ring.
The pair met in on the platform at Cardiff Central station last July. They then got on different trains without exchanging phone numbers or email addresses.
Jeremy, from Barry managed to track the singer down through a friend. On their first date, he gave 25-year-old Connie a toy train as a present and by that time, he knew of her success playing Maria.
It is understood Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber was on hand to help the couple celebrate.
