A PEMBROKE woman will be baring all for her beliefs as she runs through Spanish streets wearing nothing but a red scarf and plastic horns!

Every summer the northern Spanish town of Pamplona hosts the Running of the Bulls in which people race through the streets ahead of stampeding bulls.

The event is harshly criticised by animal welfare groups and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) instigated the Running of the Nudes several years years ago as a more humane alternative.

PETA member Sally Roberts, of the Grove area of Pembroke, will join an estimated 600 people for the event on July 5th.

Miss Roberts said: "We are trying to set up a new tradition so people will stop and see the Running of the Bulls for what it is."

The 18-year-old said her friends and family are 'quite surprised' by her escapade, but very supportive.

"My mum is proud of me for standing up for what I believe in," she said.

Miss Roberts is currently finishing a business studies course at Coleg Sir Gar in Llanelli and has been accepted to study music and media management at university in London.

She has been a strong supporter of animal rights for years, but this is the first time she has done anything quite like this.

"It's going to be an experience," she said.
