Dear Editor - There's lately been a huge fuss about private profits already made and the government's further sell off of shares in the former UKAEA research arm.

But there's hardly been a murmur about the Defence Ministry's pending disposal to Serco Denholm of the Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service, still less of the consequential closure of the RMAS Depot at Pembroke Dock, the disappearance there of 38 jobs, and the loss to the local economy of all that the depot and those jobs previously contributed. Have I missed something? Or it merely that shortly we all shall?
