dear editor - In conjunction with the news that Pembrokeshire was second only to Port Talbot for CO2 emissions, it was disturbing to hear that with the smoking ban being passed in Westminster, many establishments intend to invest in patio heaters outside to cater for smokers.
These heaters allegedly emit CO2 gases, which are probably as dangerous to everyone in regards to the health effects and to ozone levels. Can banning smoking be based on health issues when these appliances are allowed?
