Two truly world class performers come to Theatr Mwldan in early March, each bringing a wealth of influences from Spain and the Middle East.

Israeli Yasmin Levy (pictured) recently appeared on Later With Jools Holland and has been nominated for the BBC Radio 3 World Music awards 2006.

Her 'Pan-Mediterranean' music is soaked in nostalgia. Its delicate weave of Arabic, Jewish and Christian influences lament that golden age when the cultural arteries of the region were open and vibrant, and music flowed alongside science, religion and ideas like the tides and currents of the sea itself.

Yasmin will be appearing on Thursday, March 2nd.

On Thursday, March 9th, the Mwldan crowd will welcome the Spanish guitarist Eduardo Niebla and his three-piece ensemble - The Eduardo Niebla Experience.

Eduardo plays flamenco gypsy jazz with Arabic, Indian, Latin and classical influences.
