THERE was a good turn-out for a tractor run at Maenclochog.
With just under 50 tractors, the run set off from the square in the village at 11am and headed out towards Mynachlog Ddu where a ten-minute break was had on the common.
The run then headed west, just skipping the outskirts of Crymych and headed onto the Crosswell road. A short blast on the A487 and the convoy then went down into the Crosswell ford where many tractors made a good splash going through the river.
Brynberian saw some off-road going where a short break was had and it was then on to Cilgwyn, New Inn and back to Maenclochog for some food.
As the rain came in for the day, it was a day for the boys with a cab on the tractor but many braved the weather with no cab including Ceri Davies who drove his Fordson Major down from Coed y Bryn, near Llandysul, did the run and then drove back home in the pouring rain.
