PLAYERS at Solva AFC are helping to change the face of men’s health by taking part in Movember.
The annual event involves the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer.
By encouraging men to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths.
The Solva players are planning to have a grand ‘shave off’ on Saturday, November 30 during half time of the Wales v Australia rugby test.
