ST Davids City Council marked Commonwealth Day by raising a special flag at St Justinians on Monday, March 10.
At 10am, the Mayor of St Davids, Councillor Glenys James raised the flag with the assistance of the flag master Councillor Malcolm Gray.
The Deputy Mayor, Councillor David Halse read the message from The Queen together with the Commonwealth Affirmation.
St Davids was the most westerly city in the UK to raise a flag, and with the flag facing Ramsey Sound, it was arguably one of the most picturesque.
Also in attendance was the Mayor's Consort John James, Councillor Christopher Taylor, Cox David John of St Davids RNLI, Ben Silverstone of HM Coastguard, Holly Davies and Alfie Godkin representing Ysgol Bro Dewi, County Councillor David Lloyd and pupils form Ysgol Dewi Sant.
