MEMBERS of Croesgoch WI visited St David's Cathedral Bell Tower on March 18 to learn more about the art of bell-ringing.
They were met by the Tower Bell Captain, John Davies, who provided members with a fascinating history of the bells which were hung in the detached Bell Tower in the 1930s. He also explained the intricate techniques of bell-ringing.
WI member Suzelle Williams, who is learning bell-ringing, demonstrated how to ring a bell, while the other members got a feel for the art by handling the bell ropes. A fun time was had by all.
