Emergency services were called to a two vehicle collision just outside Johnston this afternoon.
There were large tailbacks following the incident at around 1.30pm where two people were ‘medically trapped’ in their vehicles.
Their injures, although not thought to be serious, did prevent them from getting out of their cars following the collision.
Two fire appliances, one from Milford Haven and one from Haverfordwest, attended and helped to release the casualties, as well as ambulance crews and police.
The two casualties were taken to Withybush Hospital by road ambulance.
Emergency services left the scene at around 2.30pm apart from one fire crew tasked with making the road safe.
