Key points along the Pembrokeshire coast will be monitored tonight (Wednesday, October 8) and tomorrow morning following a warning for the area of heavy rain and strong winds coupled with a high tide.
Pembrokeshire County Council workmen will be in attendance at Amroth, Wiseman’s Bridge, Dale and Newgale, and ready to react if coastal defences are breached.
A crew will also be on duty in the centre of Haverfordwest.
High tide tonight is at 7pm and around 7.20am tomorrow morning. Wind gusts of up to 50 mph are forecast with sporadic heavy rain.
Motorists and pedestrians are being advised to take care around coastal locations although properties are not expected to be flooded.
