A PEMBROKESHIRE hotel has been named ahead of nearly 50 others as Hotel of the Year 2015.
The accolade for The Grove, Narberth was given at a luncheon in London's Belgravia, organised by Pride of Britain, which represents 49 prestigious, independently-owned luxury hotels in the British Isles.
This marks the latest in a number of recent award successes for the hotel, which includes winning Gold in the ‘Tourism Skills Development’ category of the National Tourism Awards for Wales 2015, as well as being named 'Best Serviced Accommodation’ at the recent Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards.
Owner Neil Kedward said: “We’re delighted to have been named Pride of Britain’s Hotel of the Year 2015. This win represents seven years of hard work by our fantastic team, and whilst our journey continues, we feel we’re making big steps towards achieving the exceptional standard of hospitality we have aspired to from the very beginning. To be recognised by such a highly regarded consortium of hotels, as well as the recent awards from Visit Wales and Pembrokeshire Tourism, makes all the hard work worthwhile.”
